Syed Daanish Ismail,

I was born and raised in the UAE, I’m currently pursuing my undergraduate degree in CS at UI-Chicago. In the summer of 2024, I did a Software Engineering internship in Abu Dhabi, which gave me valuable hands-on experience and helped me grow as a developer. Between that, my coursework, and the projects I’ve worked on, I’ve realized I really enjoy building across the stack and turning ideas into real applications.

Outside of tech, I’m into photography, lifting, basketball, and spending time with friends and family. I think those interests say a lot about me, they’ve taught me discipline, creativity, and the importance of staying connected with people. Photography especially is something I enjoy because it lets me slow down and capture moments I find meaningful. Below are some of my favorite pictures I’ve taken.
